Description

THERE'amethyst is a colored variety of quartz, gem belonging to the group of silicates.

It exhibits its dyed specimens ranging from purple to violet and bluish purple, thanks to the presence of iron'chromophore element.

The almandino grenade belongs to the silicate group and is an iron and aluminum silicate.

The colour of the almandin garnet is the red, generally very dark and deep, but as soon as it is crossed by the light it reveals the immaculate shades from brown and orange tones.

The Topaz belongs to the mining group of nesosilicates. It is also colourless, but the presence of chromophore chemical elements (i.e. colorants), makes this gem have a very wide range of colours.

The presence of chrome makes the gem of pink color, red and on the tones of violet, while atomic alterations of the crystalline structure can instead make it yellow, brown and in rare cases, even blue.

Often it is unfortunately confused, more or less deliberately, with the cubic zirconia, a synthetic product of very little value ( zirconium oxide).

Also called olive oil, the perido is a silicate of magnesium and iron produced by the mixture between two minerals: the fayalite (containing iron) and forsteritis (containing magnesium).

The characteristic green color can take on slightly yellow or brown shades.

The citrine quartz belongs to the great family of quarzi and is characterized mainly by its natural beauty as this mineral is born with the most sparkling shades of yellow, ranging from light yellow to orange yellow. Fundamental is the presence of iron, the element chromophore, which gives this gem its unmistakable color.
