Description
Being a very widespread gem on the earth's crust, quartz it is sometimes a kind of casket within which other minerals can be enclosed.
In fact, in the same environment there are two or more different minerals and if one of them is quartz, it can happen that, given its greater rapidity of development, it will end up enclosing the others.
The Tormalina is an aluminum borosilicate, belongs to the cyclosilicate group and crystallizes in the trigonal system.
Depending on the quantity of metals in the main crystalline reticle, the tormalines are among the gems that have more colors in absolute. The colors vary from pale pink, to intense red, to orange, to yellow; from green to blue, to be colourless or even matte black. Sometimes more colors can be present in the same crystal.
