Description

The Pieter is a chaotic aggregate, also called breach, of embedded fragments of matrix, consisting of tiger eye, falcon eye and lime.

The colors range from blue, dark blue-gray, golden yellow and reddish brown, never evenly and with the presence of heterogeneous mineral elements.

The name was attributed in honor of Sid Pieters which discovered it in Namibia in the 1960s.
