Ammolite Shape Fantasia

THERE'Ammolite is obtained from the fossilized shell of extinct marine organisms, the warnings, of two species in particular: Placenticeras meeki and Placenticeras intercalare.

The shell, originally composed of aragonite, in the process of fossilization has been enriched with yes, pyrites and other minerals that together contribute to the inimitable iridescence multicolor. The more this is visible, the more the specimen is sought after and of value.

The processing of ammonites requires special care and the only possible cut is the cabochon.
