Description
The Larimar is a particular blue variety of pectolite, which only on the island of Santo Domingo has the colours of Caribbean waters. The exclusive colouring, typically creamy of white, varies from blue to pale green to an intense blue sky, and is due to the presence of copper that replaces part of the calcium normally present in the pectolite.
