The Diapro is a quartz cryptocrystalline variety, characterized by very lively colors produced by the presence of different iron minerals.

In nature it exists in different colors such as red, green, yellow, etc. The drawings or pattern pattern that often characterize it comes from the geological environment of formation and to today are not entirely clear.

The Hessonite grenade belongs to the family of the bigularia. The typical color crosses the darkest shades of orange, yellow and red.

Some gems if observed backlight show the so-called melassa effect, also called honey effect or vermouth, which gives the stones a very particular and fascinating aspect.
